A visual/sound unit "akisai" will be releasing a new EP "re:qualia".

This release includes all the music from akasai's visual work "re:qualia" which was released as DVD with their second album "images". This documents the achievement after their numerous live performances during the launch of first and second album releases. Connecting each music seamlessly with ambient drone, is their musical approach performed in their live performances. This EP’s concept will inherit to the new work “re:consideration”which was released this year.

From this EP, listeners can enjoy tracking back the history of akisai’s visual and live performances, through akisai’s iconic music "theory", "bless", “mistygray” consist in this release.

映像・音楽ユニットのakisaiによる新作EP「re:qualia」をリリースします。
本作はakisaiの2ndアルバム「images」と共にDVDにて発表された映像作品「re:qualia」の音源部分をEPとしてまとめた作品です。1st、2ndアルバムをリリースしていく中で行なった数多くのライブパフォーマンスの到達点を記録したものになります。アンビエントドローンによりそれぞれの曲間をシームレスにつなぐ手法は、実際のライブパフォーマンスでも行われているもので、今年発表された作品「re:consideration」へと継承されています。
「theory」、「bless」、「mistygray」といったakisaiを象徴する楽曲が散りばめられた本作は、映像またはライブパフォーマンスを含めて「akisai」というアーティストが辿ってきた軌跡を楽しむことのできる音源になっております。
